Gili’s poetry is internationally published. She has published three volumes of poetry in Hebrew and a chapbook in English entitled Living on a Blank Page (Ice Flow Press 2007). Her poetry is featured in the anthology Tok 1: Writing the New Toronto, the LRC – Literary Review of Canada, Stellar Showcase Journal, ARC( American – Israeli journal) and forthcoming in In My Bed Magazine. She also keeps on publishing her Hebrew poems in major literary journals in Israel. This summer her Hebrew translations to the poems of the American poet Dara Barnat will be published in the Israeli literary periodical Shvo. She produced and participated in the poetry event Intersections, a multi-cultural and multi-disciplinary event. Gili has also background in visual arts and has graduate from Camera Obscura Arts School. She is the author of the short film A Dictionary to Those Who Have No Need that won a grant from the Israeli Ministry of Culture and was screened in Canada and Israel. Recently her photography and poetry were presented in art exhibit at the Koffler Centre of the Arts in Toronto. She is a graduate of ISIS – Israel, the training program for Expressive Arts Therapy, and works as Expressive Arts therapist and group facilitator of Creative Writing and Body Image. She offers these classes in private practice as well as in social work agencies to allow people from different walks of life and with different needs to benefit from the recourses writing and the other modalities of expressive arts have to offer.
